Alexandre Chapusot (2de 5)

My name is Alexandre Chapusot and I am currently in 2nde5 at Stanislas. This is my experience of the Dual Diploma Program.

I started the Dual Diploma last year. I chose to follow this course because I think the study of English is very important because of the globalisation and because of the multiple careers we can do thanks to this Diploma.

This curriculum consists in online lessons, written exercises, oral practice with a program and live sessions with the American teacher who corrects our works.

Moreover, we must choose an elective course, such as psychology, engineering or criminology. Personally, I chose criminology because I find this subject very interesting and because it allows me to study the American law institutions and the social issues in the United States.

I don’t regret doing this curriculum: it helped me doing great progress in English, which is very useful for English at school but also for trips in foreign countries. The American teachers are very kind, understanding, available and skilful. However, there is a lot of work to do. On the one hand, it takes a lot of time to do the homework, but on the other hand, it helps us learning how to manage our time.

To conclude, I don’t regret my choice. This curriculum is very useful to improve my English and to have a Diploma which can help to enter an American university.
